Bewilderingly, Jonny has sold out his first (and only) two shows – the first being at Café Roux and the second at the Dinkel Bakery!
Café Roux provides the perfect setting for Jonny Hayes’ second show at the venue, with its cozy and intimate ambiance setting the stage for another unforgettable night of music.
Jonny’s debut album, ‘Daybreak’ (2021), introduced two standout singles, ‘I Won’t Let You Go’ and ‘Bathe’, which garnered widespread recognition. These captivating tracks earned him spots on Apple Music’s esteemed “New Music Daily” and “New In Alternative” playlists, as well as Spotify’s curated “SAlt” editorial playlist. His second album, ‘I Remember Where Light Goes’ (2023), held the singles, ‘Movie’ and ‘Keep Me Burning’, with the former track being selected for five Apple Music editorial playlists.
Jonny’s journey as a songwriter began in December 2018 when he decided to share voice memo recordings on Soundcloud. His early work found him crafting, recording, and producing introspective songs by recording the main vocals and guitar in a single take, using a solitary microphone. This stripped-down approach amplified raw emotion, creating an immersive experience for listeners.
Gather your friends, family and loved ones and make your way to Café Roux on the 6th of July!
